ASM Signs Liberty Defensive Back Jeremy Peters

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Alexander Sports Management group announced today its partnership in the management of professional football hopeful Jeremy Peters, a 5-foot-10, 194-pound defensive back from Liberty University.

The Green Cove Springs, Fla., native and Liberty team captain was named Big South second-team all-conference in 2017, as well as finished the season with a career-high 36 tackles (28 solo, eight assisted). He ranked second on Liberty's roster in total tackles by a defensive back (36), led the team with eight pass breakups and was named Big South Defensive Player of the Week following his three INT game at Gardner-Webb.

“Jeremy is a dynamic and talented defensive back that will be a great addition to any club or organization,” said ASM President Corey Alexander. “He has a bright future and we are thrilled to bring him on as part of the ASM family.”

Prior to starting at cornerback every game at Liberty in 2017, Peters notched 13 tackles (11 solo, two assisted) and recovered a fumble in 2016, and in 2015, saw playing time in all 11 games as a true freshman and finished the year with 17 tackles (13 solo, four assisted).

Prior to his time at Liberty University, Peters was a four-year letter winner at Clay High School in Green Cove Springs, Fla. He was named to the all-district and all-county teams as a senior, finishing the year with 74 tackles, three interceptions, three forced fumbles, and two blocked field goals. He was also a Florida Athletic Coaching Association All-Star selection as a senior.

Peters was named all-county his junior season, led by his three interceptions on the season, and finished his high school sophomore season with 28 tackles, eight pass breakups, an interception, two forced fumbles, and 342 all-purpose yards

Peters is the son of Carl White and Wyonda Ward-White, and majored in exercise science while at Liberty.
